The Centerville Beautification Committee will preside over a tree planting at
Centerville Public Library. This year's Arbor Day ceremony will be in honor of
the 375th anniversary of the Town of
Barnstable. A craft for children will follow and a
display of the Library's Cape Cod Collection will be on hand.

The Civic Beautification Committee will donate an heirloom variety plant this
spring for the Santuit and Cotuit Historical society landscape to celebrate
Arbor Day, 2014. Please join us for the dedication and planting on April 25 on
the grounds of the Dottridge Homestead at 1148 Main Street, Cotuit. The
chosen plant will represent an example of what may have existed on this property
during the first half of the 19th century when Samuel and Abigail Dottridge
raised five children in this center-chimney Cape
Cod home.
